Terms of Service - LLM Proxy
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Marco Polo Research Lab LLC for access to and use of LLM Proxy.
By using LLM Proxy, you agree to these Terms and the current Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and Account Use
- You must be legally able to enter into contracts to use LLM Proxy.
- If you use LLM Proxy for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
- You are responsible for account access and activity performed through your account and generated client secrets.
2. Service
LLM Proxy provides authenticated model routing, provider credential management, tenant configuration, and usage visibility.
Provider availability, model behavior, response quality, limits, and latency depend in part on third-party services and the configuration selected for the tenant.
3. Credentials and Third-Party Services
You are responsible for supplying authorized provider credentials, protecting generated client secrets, and complying with the terms of each selected model provider. LLM Proxy may transmit requests and credentials to those providers only as needed to perform the requested operation.
4. Acceptable Use
- Use LLM Proxy only for lawful purposes.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service availability or security, distribute malicious code, or evade provider or service limits.
- Do not submit content or direct processing that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or provider terms.
5. Request Content and Outputs
You retain rights you hold in request content. You grant us the limited right to process that content to route the request, return the response, secure the service, and troubleshoot the requested operation.
Model outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or publishing them.
6. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, provider compatibility, or legal compliance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of LLM Proxy or any third-party provider or model.
7. Intellectual Property
LLM Proxy software, design, documentation, and related materials are owned by Marco Polo Research Lab LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimers
LLM Proxy is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Model responses are generated by third-party services and are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marco Polo Research Lab LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from LLM Proxy.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access when use violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, or threatens LLM Proxy or another user. You may stop using LLM Proxy at any time.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
